Plymouth Mount batten dive charter is a very friendly family run bussiness, we own and run two quality guest houses at Hooe lake in Plymouth, our aim is to provide your diving club with the most cost effective quality Scuba Diving Charter package available in Plymouth.
We are located on the Devon and Cornwall border in fabulous Plymouth, five minutes from Bovisand dive centre surrounded by brilliant dive sites ranging from shallow reef dives and deep wreck diving including Europe’s first artificial reef HMS Scylla and the famous wreck James Egan Layne.
Based five minutes from the Mountbatten water sports complex close to In Deep dive centre, we are ideally positioned to take advantage of all the diving facilities in the area.
For diver safety we always operate with two commercially endorsed dive charter skippers on board, both are DAN 02 Oxygen administrators possessing good knowledge of all the local dive sites and the local environment; we can accommodate all diving skill levels from the novice to the expert.

Farne Islands
18th & 19th August 2012
The Farne Islands are a favourite NE dive spot off Seahouses, Northumbria, famous for the playful and inquisitive seals, diving sea birds, numerous wrecks (nearly all very broken up due to the exposed situation), abundant diverse marine life, and strong currents for excellent drift dives. Many of the 26 volcanic islets rise sheer from the seabed, and there are spectacular walls (typically on the south sides of the islands) and gullies as well as wreckage to explore. A number of hardboats operate out of Seahouses Harbour, and many clubs bring their own boats to explore the area. The nearby slipway at Beadnell used to have a tractor launch service on the beach which has recently been closed, and is under review regarding further use.
